We're friends that share a love of plant-based food, cats, Southern California and pretty much all things Francophile (which was how we arrived at the name of this blog, pronounced, just in case you're interested, days o-leev).

The idea behind this blog was simple: each week we get together and create a meal made up of foods and recipes we're excited about. It gives us a chance to catch up, trade ideas and get inspired by each other.

Usually the recipes are personalized modifications of things we find here and there or old favorites we've been making for ages. Sometimes they're entirely made up--but we always try to give credit where it's due and list what we've decided to add, take away or switch up entirely. We also try to include tips for cooking or serving when applicable, as well as what recipes might work well for a specific audience (i.e.: kids, non-vegans or people with no experience at all with plant-based food).
